This is how Joker should have been portrayed in Suicide Squad and personally I liked this version of Joker than Suicide Squad. I wish we could have watched Ben Affleck's Batman movie with Jared Leto's Joker.

Harley Quinn isn't a girl. She's a woman. She's definitely not "the girl" here. The boy and the girl were mentioned together, in the same line- that means that they were similar in some way. Barbara was Batman's protege much like the Robin. I think the Joker was referring to Barabara after, you know the incident in the Killing Joke. Besides, the Joker was trying to provoke Batman. Why would Batman be provoked by Harley screaming?

I go back and forth over whether this was the better ending of the conversation, or if the version we actually saw in the film was. On the one hand, this version has some badass dialogue on the Joker's part. On the other hand, in the film, the Joker looked truly shaken/disturbed when he heard about Harley. So in the film, Batman got under the Joker's skin, and in this version, the Joker got under Batman's skin. I guess it depends on which you find more interesting. Personally, since it's usually Joker who freaks other people out, I thought was captivating to see the reverse happen for a change, and really liked what we got in the film. That stunned silence when he heard about Harley spoke volumes.

God I hate this Batman
